Topper Ireland would like to thank all the clubs and the vast number of volunteers who kindly held regattas in 2022, your support is never taken for granted and is always appreciated.
Topper Ireland is now turning its attention to 2023 and would ask any club that would have an interest in holding an event in 2023 to please email the Topper Chair andrew_dadley@yahoo.co.uk before the end of September 2022. At this stage, we are simply asking for an expression of interest.
We will be following the familiar format of 9 Regattas throughout 2023
· One 3-day Regatta – The Irish Nationals (Friday – Saturday – Sunday)
· Three 2-day Regattas – Regional Championships (Saturday – Sunday)
· Five one-day regattas (Sunday)
2023 will also be a special year with Royal Cork Yacht Club hosting the Topper Worlds. Topper Ireland will be looking to support Cork in this endeavour.
