To keep everyone informed, ITCA (IRL) has voted ‘Yes’ to accept the new boat into the International Topper racing fleet and has voted Yes to the ITCA (World)’s Special Sub Committee to update the Class Rules, Specifications and Notice of Race prior to the forthcoming 2023 Worlds in Cork, Ireland, and various other national events, in order to efficiently and successfully integrate the new polyethylene hull into the various fleets.

ITCA (IRL) has also with immediate effect amended 4.2 from our NoR which placed restrictions on the new hull and therefore the new hulls can compete and be fully integrated at our next event, this being the Southerns on 17-18 June at Wexford Harbour Sailing and Tennis Club. Having cast our vote and with the evidence supplied to the committee, we felt this approach was in the best interest of the sailors.

ITCA (Worlds) still have the 19h June as their official launch of World Sailing approval and updated class rules.
